Mission¶

AIBHS is a holistic program, where biomedical and clinical knowledge is matched with AI technical, ethical and legal expertise, enabling students to practice and apply AI skills directly into translational research and clinical settings.

More concretely: AIBHS trains the workforce in healthcare and biomedical sciences to develop and implement trustworthy artificial intelligence technologies, transforming digital patient care, translational research, and precision medicine.

Program structure¶

Degree: Master's degree, experiential learning graduate program
Full-time completion: 1.5 years
Format: Hybrid — online and face-to-face
Campuses: Gainesville and Jacksonville, FL
Start date: Fall 2026
Pace: Flexible for full-time and part-time students
